Police officer put their lives on the line every day. Unfortunately, there are times when officers make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty for the state of New York. We want to make sure those officers who have Fallen are not Forgotten.

This week we salute Trooper Craig J. Todeschini..Trooper Todeschini died at the age of 25 April 23, 2006 in a traffic accident.

Trooper Todeschini was pursuing a violator on State Route 91, in the Town of Pompey, when he lost control of his Troop car and struck a tree. As a result of this incident, "The Craig J. Todeschini Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer Act" was signed into law by Governor Goerge Pataki in 2006. Trooper Todeschini was a three year veteran of the State Police and was assigned to SP Lafayette at the time of his death.
