Police officer put their lives on the line every day. Unfortunately, there are times when officers make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty for the state of New York. We want to make sure those officers who have Fallen are not Forgotten.

This week we salute Trooper Kenneth A. Poormon was tragically killed on May 31, 2000, in a traffic accident. Trooper Poormon and his partner Trooper Truscott were chasing a violator when their car was struck by a tractor-trailer.

At the time of his death, Trooper Poormon was assigned to SP Kingston. He was a one year veteran of the State Police.

If you know an officer who should be remembered in our 'Fallen But Not Forgotten' series email Don.Wagner@townsquaremedia.com.
