Fallen But Not Forgotten – Trooper Mattice

Police officer put their lives on the line every day. Unfortunately, there are times when officers make the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty for the state of New York. We want to make sure those officers who have fallen are not forgotten.

This week we salute Trooper Jill E. Mattice who was killed in the line of duty. Trooper Mattice was assigned at SP Oneonta as a school resource officer. Trooper Mattice was killed as a result of a motor vehicle collision when her vehicle side swiped an oncoming tractor trailer..
