New Plans For Hot Air Balloon Festival And Much More In Rome

Jake DiBari from Positively Rome stopped by the studio to fill us in on the Hot Air Balloon Festival, the Bike Share Program and more all going on in Rome. 

We were all disappointed that the hot air balloon festival was postponed, but the show will go on October 1 at Bellamy Harbor Park in Downtown Rome. There will  be at least six hot air balloons for rides and photos, live music, great food, and this time, participate in a 'Big Truck Day.' Positively Rome is working with the city of Rome for 'Truck Day.' There will be fire trucks, police vehicles and more where you can steer the steering wheel, honk the horn, and kick the tires so to speak. There will also be a 2-mile bridge to bridge walk to benefit the to raise money for the humane society of Rome.
