What’s The Worst Post-Workout Beer To Drink?
We've been the ones to tell you for weeks that drinking beer after a workout is a good idea. However, not all beers are created equally. Some beers would cause disaster if you drank them after a workout. What's the worst drink to have during a post-workout?
According to Fox News, the Worst Post-Workout Beer is a Samuel Adams Boston Lager. Wait why? Who doesn't love a Sam Adams? It's a freaking good beer!
There's nothing inherently wrong or even bad about Sam Adams. It's a nice smooth lager with a strong, hoppy finish. In airport bars and hotel lounges, it's usually the best bet in lieu of Rolling Rock or Heineken. But at 175 calories for a 12 oz. bottle, it's a caloric bomb. By the time you reach for your third, you'll have damn near drunk the equivalent of a Wendy's quarter pounder.
So if you are counting calories, this is the worst to drink. I guess that makes sense... however, it's still an amazing beer.
