Once again, my friends at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company have released one of the favorite seasonal beers for winter: Saranac 'Caramel Porter'. Yes it's on the dark side, being a porter, but has a subtle sweetness due to the caramel flavor.

Here's more about Saranac Caramel Porter, according to the label description:

"Real caramelized sugar, roasted barley, and chocolate and caramel malts produce a delectable brew.

Alcohol by volume: 5.4%

International Bitterness Units: 23"

Having tried this one over the years, I would say that Saranac Caramel Porter always pours a nice creamy head, and in spite of the caramel sweetness, it's well balanced with just enough hops. Enjoy!
