Will Sheila E's Costume Mishap Make Carrier Dome Prince DVD?

Still hard to believe that Prince died over a year ago. Who remembers his concert at the Carrier Dome in 1985 and saw Sheila E's wardrobe malfunction?

Prince started touring our area back in 1980. He opened for Rick James in Rochester March 20 and then hit Buffalo April 2, 1980. BTW Rick James was born in Buffalo. Although this was before his breakout masterpiece 'Dirty Mind' the Democrat and Chronicle reported thousands on their feet swooning.

Prince brought the Purple Rain Tour back to Buffalo December 18, 1984, and also performed at the Carrier Dome on March 30th, 1985. That legendary Syracuse show ended with a 20-minute version of Purple Rain that was so amazing it's going to be released on DVD as part of the expanded version of the Purple Rain re-issue on June 23.

After speaking with those who were at the show in 1985, we wonder if Sheila E's wardrobe malfunction will make the movie? We hear her shirt somehow came off. It's also rumored but not confirmed that Prince either donated to or started a food pantry in Syracuse.
