Police are offering a $5,800 reward for info leading to the arrest and conviction of the owner of an abused dog found near North Alford and Danford in Syracuse.
A puppy that was given away to a "trusted" person on social media ended up in the hands of a convicted animal abuser. The abuser has been arrested for violating the Animal Abuse Registry.
Syracuse Police made arrests last week in large animal cruelty cases, but they are asking for the public's help in finding all of the abused animals involved.
Photos and video of three dogs being kept under questionable conditions in West Utica have been circulating on social media. The Utica Police Department says the situation is "under investigation".
