Saranac Introduces New ‘Can Do’ Mix Pack
As a former tour guide at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company, I am always interested in "brews news" from my Alma Mater. The brewery has just introduced a new 12-packed called: "Can Do" Mix Pack.
Here are the details, according to the F.X. Matt Brewing Company:
"Saranac Serves up Summer…in a Can
Introducing the new “Can-Do” Mix Pack
Saranac embodies a can-do spirit this summer, giving consumers a mix of some of it's best and most in-demand beers. The 'Can Do' pack is made up of two popular and recently revised core products: the award-winning Saranac Pale Ale which is made using the brand's exclusive hop infusion process and Saranac Legacy IPA, a beer inspired by a 100 year old family recipe created by the brewery's founder; as well as Wild Hop Pils, a summer seasonal that's back because consumers asked for it.
WHY "CAN DO"?
Craft can sales have more than doubled for each of the last 5 years, trending at 112% in 2013
Craft variety packs are growing at over 20%
More than half of total craft sales are covered by the 3 styles in this pack
Cans are a more portable package, not to mention, they're good for the beer since they preserve the beer by protecting it from light, and keep more oxygen out with a tighter seal."
