Part of a bridge has collapsed in Syracuse causing road closures and possible power outages with downed lines.

Emergency crews and Mayor Ben Walsh are on the scene of a railroad bridge that fell in the road shortly after 1 pm Thursday, July 5, 2018.  According to CNY Central West Onondaga Street and South Clinton Street are closed to traffic at this time as the situation is being assessed.

WSYR-TV reports a  traffic light was also taken down during the bridge collapse. Their information adds to the current road closures with potions of South Salina, Jefferson and Adams Streets blocked off.

Syracuse Police Chief Frank Fowler and National Grid are on the scene, assessing the situation. Onondaga County dispatch says no one was injured during the incident. [WSYR-TV]
