A pair of Australian radio personalities have apologized after making a prank call to the hospital where Catherine, the Dutchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) is being treated for acute morning sickness.

Mel Greig And Michael Christian Of Sydney's 2Day FM pretended to be Queen Elizabeth II and her son, Prince Charles. You can only imgaine what it sounded like right? You'd think the hospital would have picked up. Surprisingly, they got through and had a brief conversation with Kate's private nurse. This nurse revealed some details about her condition.

The hospital has also apologized, saying it "deeply regrets" the incident. Mel Greig and Michael Christian of Sydney's 2Day FM said:

"We were very surprised that our call was put through, we thought we'd be hung up on as soon as they heard our terrible accents."

The radio show posted an apology for the call on its official Twitter feed Wednesday, and issued a statement.

"2Day FM sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused by the enquiry to Kate's hospital, the radio segment was done with light-hearted intentions, we wish Kate and her family all the best and we're glad to hear she's doing well," it said.
