How Likely Are You To Keep Your New Year’s Resolution?
Did you make a New Year's resolution for yourself for 2017? Do you plan on sticking with it throughout the whole year?
According to Statistic Brain, some of the most popular resolutions made every year are to start working out, quit smoking, and to save more money. Whether or not people stick to those resolutions is a different story.
45% of people usually make resolutions each year, and those people are 10 times more likely to be able to see them through.
If you are in your twenties, you are 39% likely to be able to achieve your resolution each year. After 50 years old, it drops all the way down to 14%.
Most people start off strong, with 75% being able to stick to their resolution for the first week. After one month, you're only 64% likely to stick with it and 46% likely after 6 months.
Do you think that you'll be able to be in the percentage that can see their resolution through?
