Stroll through holiday heaven at the Christmas House where you'll find close to a million different decorations.

Feel the magic of the holidays at this 1894 Queen Anne mansion, painted in 16 different colors. Step inside to see 98,704 Christmas items spread throughout six rooms.

Julie and Mark Delgrosso purchased the Christmas House in 1993 from Elaine and Tony DeBiase—who began the shop back in 1983. The home was originally built for Justus Harris, a lumber baron in Elmira, according to John Kucko, who recently took a tour of the Christmas House.

Julie and Mark expanded the store after purchasing it, loading up every room with holiday decor.  And there's more to the store than just Christmas decorations. Check out the popular assortment of ladies accessories, jewelry and even gourmet foods.

The Christmas House opens from July through December. During the holidays, there is COVID friendly hot chocolate and goodies on the outside porch. "The Christmas House is a must see in the Southern Tier," said Kucko, who grew up in the area.

The Christmas House is located at 361 Maple Avenue in Elmira, New York. Stop in for a visit or shop online at ShopChristmasHouse.com.
