Frankfort Police are asking for our help in finding the two responsible for the death of a pitbull.

The two men they believe are responsible for the death of a pitbull, one with a full beard could be driving a black or dark blue, two-door, Dodge pick-up.

According to Frankfort Police press release:

On Saturday February 16th we received a report of a deceased dog in the area of the old land fill on South Side Rd. Officers and our DCO located an emancipated 3 to 4 year old black Pitbull in a crate. The animal was deceased and appeared to have died from malnutrition and animal fighting. The dog was heavily scarred, had a full tail and cropped ears. A black or dark blue 2 door Dodge pick up was seen in the area acting suspicious with two male occupants, one of the males had a full beard. This truck fled the area before police arrival. If anyone has any information please contact the Town of Frankfort Police Department at 315-894-3594. Email tips can also be left at POLICE@TOWNOFFRANKFORT.COM
