Charlie Sheen is finally using his celebrity status to make a difference. Sheen is planning a fundraiser for people whose lives have been devastated by the recent tornadoes. On Monday, Sheen toured an Alabama neighborhood that had been leveled by tornadoes. He stopped at a local Kmart to buy flashlights for some of the thousands still without electricity and paid the $324.07 bill with his own Visa card. Sheen took the lights to a relief center amid cheers and applause. He says he’s working with local officials to organize a benefit. A date has not been set. But he says he wants “to bring some money, hope, faith and healing to the area.”
