Shortcut Through Former Kmart Parking Lot in New Hartford Gone

Do you cut through the former Kmart parking lot to get to Clinton Sreet? Well, not anymore.

I'll admit it; I'm one of the people that would cut thought he Kmart parking lot to get to Clinton St. and then on to Middle Settlement Road. That's what I attempted to do on Sunday to get to the movie theatre, and it was all blocked off. Is that entrance just blocked for the construction or is it permanently closed?

While I was stuck, I saw that the construction on Big Lots is underway. The At Home Superstore is scheduled to open next month.
