Apple may have good news for everyone who's been missing their iPhone 5/5s -- it may be coming out with a four-inch version of the iPhone 6s.

The iPhone has been slowly growing larger over the years with this year's models being 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches. However, you can't please everybody and while Apple Insider reports that most consumers are happy with the bigger screen sizes, there are still some people stuck in the past. Cowen and Company analyst Timothy Arcuri has now speculated to investors that there's a good chance that Apple could be designing an iPhone 6s mini.

The screen would go back down to the 4 inches that some people know and love from the iPhone 5 and 5s, but would feature the same design as the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus with the rounded edges. However, Arcuri says that this mini model would be looking to replace the iPhone 5c -- the colored, plastic, less expensive version of the iPhone 5s. This means that this mini phone could very easily lack some of the features that the iPhone 6s will be coming out with.

Apple would hardly be the first mobile maker to develop a mini version of its flagship phone, and the 5c proved to be a good budget-friendly entry for the line. Doing the same thing again with the iPhone 6 certainly wouldn't be out of the question. Of course, while Apple has been keeping up with its annual smartphone releases, we likely won't know what's really in store until a bit later this summer.
