11.97 inches of rain has fallen in Boonville since April 1, and that's no April Fools Joke.

Syracuse.com reports the wettest spot in Upstate NY is Callicoon Center, in Sullivan County, with 12.03 inches. Coming in 2nd is Boonville with 11.97 inches, while some of that total is from snow, it's still almost double the 6.33 inches average for that time period.

The National Weather Service says a brief high pressure will keep things dry through midday. However, a quickly moving disturbance will zip through later this afternoon into tonight with scattered showers and a slight chance of thunder. Temperatures will trend a bit milder the next several days, with mainly dry conditions except for showers from a passing system Thursday night through Friday.
