Walt Butler was the very first member of the Keith James All Star Band and for those of you who don't know him, he's the epitome of a great musician but as you can tell from his interview, he's a great person too and that combination is pretty rare and a huge credit to his profession.

After thousands of votes cast and nearly a hundred musicians nominated collectively from the area, we finally have every musician but one... the singer!

After the most fierce week of voting yet between 51 nominees for the Keith James All Star Band drummer and more than 35,000 votes cast, Ken Race of Downshift has emerged victorious with nearly a third (30%) of the total vote!

We chilled today with longtime area drummer, Patrick Orlowski who has held down the throne in a plethora of bands including S.I.V., Toast and Dashboard Nixon and most recently Simpleprops and Gridley Paige.
