Victorian Yuletide at MWPAI
The Munson Williams Proctor Art's Institute (MWPAI) Fountain Elms period rooms are decorated for a Victorian Christmas.
While taking in 'The World through His Lens: Steve McCurry Photographs' and 'Portraits of Hope: Faces of Refugee Resettlement in Central New York,' we also enjoyed the Victorian Yuletide.
The Fountain Elms period rooms are ready for the holidays. The bedroom is set with a 1907 breakfast, the dining room follows Helen Munson Williams’ 1874 holiday menu, and the parlor and library are set for a champagne and dessert party. Also on display are toys, games, and dolls, many of which were owned by Rachel and Maria Williams Proctor.
There's nothing like seeing it in person so go and enjoy the exhibit at MWPAI.
