The ‘Today Show’ Reported From Albany For Latest Snow Storm

The Today Show on NBC was live in the Capital District for the latest winter storm.

The National Weather Service reported that that 20.7 inches fell in East Glenville, Schenectady County. Coming in second is Schaghticoke, in Rensselaer County, with 18.9 inches. Those totals were as of 8 a.m 12/2/19 via NYUpState. On Sunday, a Delta Airlines Jet carrying 72 passengers slid off the runway in Buffalo with no reported injuries. The Syracuse Airport closed while they cleared the runways.

Syracuse University is closed. This is the fourth class cancelation in SU’s history!

NBC’s Kathy Park had live reports for TODAY from Albany on the nasty mix of snow and ice, leaving travelers stranded at airports and on roads. More than a foot of snow is expected in parts of the Northeast on Monday.
