If I said to you the name Peter Robbins you'd probably have no idea who I was talking about. If I said his character “Charlie Brown” I bet you would perk right up. However, I'm not saying his name because it's good news to report on. Robbins, who provided the orginal voice of Charlie Brown, was arrested for stalking and making violent threats. He was arrested at a border crossing in San Diego after a background check turned up a warrant. Poor Charlie Brown. Even his voice actor is a loser.

According to arrest, and court records, Robbins was alleged to have threatened violence against a La Jolla plastic surgeon and a San Diego police sergeant.

The surgeon, Dr. Lori Saltz, obtained a temporary restraining order against Robbins earlier this month after he threatened to "break her in half" after she performed plastic surgery on his girlfriend that he was not satisfied with. Robbins was also arrested on January 13th for allegedly skipping out on a bill at a La Jolla Hotel restaurant. Robbins threatened the sergeant who put him in handcuffs.

Good grief!

Robbins was the first person to voice Charlie Brown at the age of 9 in a 1965 special "A Boy Named Charlie Brown". He continued doing the character until the age of 13 in specials such as "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown".

No official comment from Woodstock.
