Cindy can't wait to see the 2017 Silverado HD with the redesigned Duramax 6.6L V-8 turbo-diesel engine. The horsepower and torque are unparalleled.

2017 is lookin' good for my beloved Silverado with the new Duramax 6.6L engine. The bottom line is this truck will give you an excellent towing experience because of the new stronger cylinder block and rotating assembly. This helps the engine achieve an SAE-certified 445 horsepower (332 kW) and 910 lb.-ft. of torque (1,234 Nm)  - a 19 percent increase over the current Duramax 6.6L. The result of these tweaks is quicker acceleration, better engine braking, and quieter noise levels for a diesel.

Also new for 2017 is a patent-pending vehicle air intake system which not only looks awesome but also helps the engine perform better under extreme conditions. As you know when working hard the engine and transmission temperatures can rise quickly, this new air intake system allows the engine to maintain more power and speed under these conditions.

This is a truck for those who work hard and play hard! You love to ride home in this during the Carbone Commute. Chris and Matt will answer all your questions at Carbone Chevy, 5043 Commercial Drive, Yorkville.  Don't forget to tell them Cindy from 96.1 The Eagle sent ya!.
