One of the eight killed in the terror attack in Lower Manhattan was a
Skidmore College graduate. 

Sayfullo Saipov, a 29-year-old Uzbek native and Isis supporter used a rented Home Depo truck killing eight people and injuring 12. He drove the truck on a popular bike path in Lower Manhatten with the intention of killing as many people as he could.

One of the eight murdered was Nicholas Francis Cleves, a 2016 graduate of Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs. He was a computer science major, physics minor, studied Italian, worked as an IT Help Desk assistant and astronomy tutor. Cleves was just 23 years old living in New York, working as a software engineer, analyst, and web developer.

A 32-year-old New Jersy man, a Belgian mother of 2, and five friends from Argentina were also killed.
