This is the first show announced for the Fair’s main stages. Concerts on Chevy Court and the Experience Stage.

Sheena Easton, the singer whose songs and collaborations with artists such as Prince dominated top 40 radio in the 1980s, will perform at Chevy Court on Wednesday, September 2, at 2 p.m. The 2x Grammy winner last played the Fair in 2005. Concerts at Chevy Court and the Experience Stage are free with Fair admission.

“We’re pleased to bring Sheena Easton back to the Fair,” said Troy Waffner, Fair Director. “Her songs have stood the test of time and I know this will be a fun afternoon for her fans and music fans in general.”

The Governor has announced a 5-day extension for the Fair, and although it still needs to be approved, they are promoting an 18-day event from August 21 - September 7th.

The New York State Fairgrounds is a 375-acre exhibit and entertainment complex that operates all year.
