The low temperature in Syracuse on Saturday, November 9, 2019, was 19 degrees, so at 6:30 in the morning, temps were still in the teens. Pets cannot be left out in extreme temperatures. Hopefully, that can also be added to the charges for the crime.
If you find yourself in a position where you can no longer take care of your pets properly, you can turn them into your local animal shelter. They'll ask if you can make a small donation, but if you can't, it's ok, they'll still take the animal.
