Pumpkins and Pooches Costume Contest Coming to Syracuse

Dogs in costumes make my heart so happy. I mean, let's be honest, dogs just make my heart happy to begin with, but dress them up as pumpkins or fairies? My heart can't handle all that cuteness.

Luckily, a costume contest at a Syracuse dog shelter is sure to be the cutest thing ever, and your dog can enter! Helping Hounds Dog Rescue's 9th Annual Pumpkins and Pooches Costume is Saturday, October 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes prizes and a bake sale.

You can sign your doggo up for just $5. You can also donate human and dog goodies for the bake sale. Call Helping Hounds at 315-446-5970 or message them on Facebook to set up a time to donate. All the proceeds from the contest and the bake sale will benefit the pups.
