Million Dollar Scratch Off Ticket Sold On Route 8

One lucky New Yorker is now a million dollars richer. A winning ticket was sold on Route 8, just south of Central New York in Masonville.

WBNG reports that a Sidney man won the $1,000,000 prize on the "Merry Millionaire" holiday-themed scratch-off ticket. The best part, he bought this ticket one day on his way home from work.

Officials announced Tuesday that Yolanda Vega will present a check to the man on Wednesday where he bought the ticket, the Mirabito convenience store on State Route 8 in Masonville.
