The worst of the winter storm is over for parts of New York while other areas will still see blizzard conditions and 1 to 2 more feet of snow.

The Blizzard Warning for Northern Oneida County is cancelled but remains in effect for the Tug Hill region and Herkimer and Hamilton counties. Here's the latest warnings and advisories.

Oneida County

Additional lake effect snow showers develop Friday night in Northern and Southern Oneida counties and will continue through Saturday. A few inches of snow is possible but windy conditions will cause occasional blowing and drifting.

Onondaga/Madison Counties

There's a Winter Weather Advisory from 7pm Friday to 1pm Saturday in Onondaga and Madison counties, including Syracuse, Hamilton, and Oneida.

2 to 5 inches of lake effect snow is expected, creating slippery road conditions for the evening commute. Wind gusts up to 30 mph may lead to occasional blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibility.

Tug Hill/Lake Ontario Region

Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 4pm Friday for Oswego, Jefferson and Lewis counties, including the cities of Oswego, Watertown, and Lowville.

Another 1 to 2 feet of snow is expected today with winds gusting as high as 45 mph along the Eastern Lake Ontario Region.

Travel will continue to be very difficult to impossible with blowing and drifting snow significantly reducing visibility. T

Herkimer/Hamilton Counties

A Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 4pm Friday in Northern Herkimer and Hamilton counties, including the cities of Big Moose, Eagle Bay, McKeever, Old Forge, Atwell, Nobleboro, Northwood, Long Lake, Sabattis, Hoffmeister, and Wells.

Blizzard conditions will continue near and north of Route 28. 3 to 8 inches of snow is expected across the extreme northern portions of Herkimer and Hamilton counties with winds gusting as high as 30 mph.

Travel could be very difficult with areas of blowing snow significantly reducing visibility.
