Have You Seen This Central New York Man Wanted By The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office?
A hang-up call to 911 from Main Street in Remson has led to a manhunt for the person pictured above, Thomas Zavalidroga.
According to Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol, On 07-25-18 at about 3:23 pm, Deputies responded to a 911 hang up, at 9584 Main St. in the VIllage of Remsen. Upon arrival, a white male ran on foot away from the Deputy. The Deputy gave chase but lost sight of him between houses in Remsen.
Several agencies including the NYS DEC Police, NYS Police and Boonville PD assisted the Sheriff's Office with the search which was negative results. Investigation on scene found the male to be Thomas Zavalidroga, DOB 11-02-61.
The investigation also revealed that Zavalidroga has a warrant out of the Oneida County Sheriff's Office for criminal contempt, a Class A misdemeanor.
WIBX reported in 2014, Zavalidroga was convicted of reckless endangerment and falsely reporting an incident for leaving his elderly mother in the woods.
