Gymboree will close 350 stores, including 5 in New York.

This is one of those cases that have become all too frequent in the past 5 or so years. Competition from more stores and ever increasing sales lost to the Internet has forced the Gymboree company to restructure. Last June closings were expected to reach 450 stores. That total has now dropped to 350 with closings to start as early as next Tuesday, July 18th, according to USA Today.

The list of closings for the state of New York is a total of 5 stores and they are:

1. Destiny USA in Syracuse

2. Walden Galleria in Buffalo

3. Oakdale Mall, in Johnson City

4. Wilton Mall, in Saratoga Springs

5. Veron Hills Shopping, Scarsdale
