Grand Funk Railroad Coming To CNY

Last time "The American Band" played CNY it was a sold out show!

Grand Funk Railroad will perform on Friday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m at the Del Lago Resort & Casino. Tickets go on sale on Friday, Nov. 9 at noon and may be purchased in person at the del Lago Resort & Casino box office, by calling the box office at 315-946-1695 or dellagoresort.com/entertainment. This is the second time Grand Funk Railroad will perform at del Lago Resort & Casino as the band played to a sold-out crowd on Feb. 1, 2018, marking del Lago’s first anniversary.

Grand Funk Railroad, known as “The American Band,” has laid the groundwork for bands like Foreigner, Journey, Van Halen and Bon Jovi with its signature hard driving sound, soulful vocals, muscular instrumentation, and forceful pop melodies. Mega-hits “We're an American Band,” “I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home,” “Locomotion” and “Some Kind Of Wonderful” still receive continuous airplay on classic rock radio. Over their career, Grand Funk Railroad has had 19 charted singles, eight Top 40 hits, and two number one singles. The group has accumulated 13 gold and 10 platinum records with sales more than 25 million copies sold worldwide.
