Five time Grammy Award winning singe/songwriter Michael McDonald will hit the Stanley Theater Stage in November to benefit the Stanley Theater and Valley Health Services. McDonald can be recognized from his work with the group Steely Dan in the early 70's where his distinct vocals can be heard on hits like 'Black Friday' and 'Peg.'

In the mid 70's, McDonald joined The Doobie Brothers as a singer, keyboardist and songwriter for hits such as 'Takin' it to the Streets,' 'It Keeps You Runnin', 'Minute By Minute,' and 'What a Fool Believes.'

Along with his own solo hits like 'I Keep Forgettin,' 'Sweet Freedom,' 'On My Own(with Patti LaBelle)' and the Grammy winning duet with James Ingram 'Yah Mo Be There,'  McDonald has also lent his voice to artists like Kenny Loggins, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Elton John.

Tickets will go on sale August 2 and 3 for Stanley and Valley Health Services members, and will be available to the general public beginning on August 4.
