Remember the days when MTV was actually watchable? Well we're about to get a dose of 90's nostalgia when 'MTV Classic' takes over VH1 Classic next month.

According to Rolling Stone, VH1 Classic will be re-branded into a throwback of fan favorite MTV shows from the 1990's and early 2000's, and will air shows like 'Beavis & Butthead' and 'Aeon Flux' with weekends dedicated to marathons of their reality shows like the 'Real World' and 'Laguna Beach.'

Maybe the best news though is the announcement that the new MTV Classic will air the best moments from its hit show 'MTV Unplugged.'

You can expect to see the episodes of Unplugged that featured Nirvana, Bob Dylan, Alice In Chains and more.

MTV Classic will take over on August 1, on the 35th anniversary of MTV's original launch in 1981 with a re-airing of their historic first hour of programming ever.
