I love food. I love "occasionally" cooking and creating dishes. There was that instantly lovable and hate-able classic I once made - Cincinnati Chili Riggies...
Then there was that time I created the McWhopper...
I'm definitely not a certifiable foodie. And I'm even less of a chef. But I agreed to take part in this year's "Gourmet Guys To The Rescue" event, to benefit the Rescue Mission of Utica. The challenge? To create something to serve to 300-400 guests, all hungry to try what the "celebrities" are cooking.
I've got my ingredients and recipe roughly planned out. Not dropping any hints just yet though! The hardest part is figuring out exactly how much to buy, and how to prepare for tansport and keep all the food warm. I'll let you know my progress as I put it all together for this legendary local event! See you there.
