‘Forgetaboutit’ Italian Comedy Comes To The del Lago

Like ethnic Italian jokes? Then this show is for you. 

The Laughing Vine has added “Forgetaboutit Italian Comedy,” starring Vincent “Big Pussy” Pastore of The Sopranos, “Goumba” Johnny Sialiano and Maija DiGiorgio, at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 15.

If you’re Italian, a Sopranos fan or just love good ethnic Italian humor, this show is a must-see. Audience members are encouraged to volunteer to come up on stage and act out a scene from The Sopranos with “Big Pussy,” “Goumba” and DiGiorgio. At the end of the show, Pastore — aka “Big Pussy” Bompensiero — will host a Q&A session to talk about acting and his time on The Sopranos.

Pastore is an accomplished film and Broadway actor who surrounded himself with two excellent Italian stand-up comics/actors from New York City. Sialiano is comic, actor and radio host. He played for the NY Giants and Jets and became a comic when injuries forced him to quit football. DiGiorgio, a stand-up comic, actor and radio host, has opened for Dave Chappelle, Dane Cook, Kevin Hart, Wanda Sykes, Lisa Lampanelli, Mike Epps and Louis C.K.
