Easter, opening day of the 2018 trout season and April Fools Day is all on Sunday, April 1st. The last time this happened was in 1956.

This predicament could cause a ruckus in any family. What will you do?

Many Christians celebrate Easter Sunday as the day of Jesus Christ’s resurrection, which is written in the New Testament of the Christian bible. Dateandtime.com says in the Gospel of John in the New Testament; Mary Magdalene came to the tomb where Jesus was buried and found it empty. An angel told her that Jesus had risen.

This is also something to considerGotquestions.org says the Bible makes it clear that Jesus was resurrected on the first day of the week, Sunday (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:2,9; Luke 24:1; John 20:1,19). Jesus' resurrection is most worthy of being celebrated (see 1 Corinthians 15). While it is appropriate for Jesus' resurrection to be celebrated on a Sunday, the day on which Jesus' resurrection is celebrated should not be referred to as Easter. Easter has nothing to do with Jesus' resurrection on a Sunday.

The Rev. Gladston B. “Skip” Adams III, an avid fisherman, tells NewYorkUpstate.com he gets those who say that being on a trout stream is like being at church: “A part of my gratefulness for the gift of the resurrection is to delight in the creation that God has given us to take care of – including trout streams,”  He advised Christians to make time to worship that day, noting “there are plenty of options and time to go fishing before and after the service.”

For April Fools Day, can't you play innocent tricks during while fishing and celebrating Easter?
