Warm, dry weather is predicted in CNY long into fall making for spectacular fall foliage.

AccuWeather And The National Weather Service says it will feel like Summer longer this year. The warm temperatures will delay fall foliage, but who cares as long as it's not ruined by windy storms, right?

AccuWeather Expert Long-Range Forecaster Paul Pastelok says,

“There are probably going to be people at the beaches for a longer duration this year compared to other years.”

Dry CNY weather will make for a stunning fall foliage display this year. The cooldown comes in October, but it will be a while before Old Man Winter settles in says Pastelok

“I think the highest elevations of the Northeast will have the best chances for autumn snow as we get into mid-season, but I think we’re going to be waiting a long time for significant snow that’s going to stick.”

The fall climatological forecast from the Climate Prediction Center (CPC), a branch of the National Weather Service predict the same warm weather this fall.
