The discount website and App RetailMeNot has compiled a list of freebies and discounts that are available to our heroic first responders and front-line workers. It includes everything from food discounts, coffee, clothing, and even services.

If you're a first responder or front-line worker....first off, thank you for everything you're doing during the coronavirus pandemic. Second, please take advantage of these deals and discounts you totally deserve it.

Here are a few highlights from the RetailMeNot list of discounts and freebies.

McDonald's is offering free "Thank You Meals" to healthcare workers and first responders between April 22 and May 5.

Cumberland Farms is offering health care workers, first responders and military personnel a free any-size hot or iced coffee. This includes police officers, firefighters, active military, paramedics, doctors, nurses, hospital and medical staff, and medical researchers.

IHOP is offering 20% off your entire check if you’re a medical, law enforcement, military and firefighter professional. Just mention this offer when you call-in your order to IHOP.

Walgreens announced that it is designating April 25 as “Frontline Heroes Discount Day,” and will give first responders, police, and medical personnel 30% off regularly-priced Walgreens brands and 20% off regularly priced national brand products.

Pizza vs. Pandemic is a partnership of three organizations, including local pizza shop delivery app Slice. They are taking donations and suggestions for health care workers that could use a delivery of free pizza.


Starbucks has announced, “any customer who identifies as a first responder or frontline worker supporting our health care system” can get a free hot or cold tall brewed coffee on each visit.
