Melky Cabrera of the San Francisco Giants was suspended for 50 games for using a banned substance, testosterone. Cabrera confessed and apologized for his behavior. He’s the fourth player (and the second Giant) to be suspended for using a banned substance since May.

Michael J. Fox is returning to TV. Fox stepped out of the spotlight for more than a decade as he battled Parkinson's disease. Reports say he will star in a comedy that's in development at Sony Pictures Television for 2013 that the major networks are said to be very interested in.

Elton John Bassist Bob Birch Dead of Apparent Suicide

Bob Birch, a long-time member of Elton John‘s band, was discovered dead Wednesday of an apparent suicide. Law enforcement officials stated that Birch was found around the corner from his home, with a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities did not find a suicide note and there were no apparent signs of drug use. The bassist had performed with John for two decades, and also worked with many other music legends.
