You might've seen the "Handshake City" petition in your Facebook newsfeed regarding bringing an urban container art park to Utica and it was approved! But, not gonna lie, I had to look up what that even is and even then existing details were a bit scarce and cryptic to my X-ennial mind. Here's the skinny...

A container art park is kind of like a temporary strip mall setup in an under-developed area of town using abandoned shipping containers like the ones that you'd see on a train or barge. They are converted for all manner of vendors to sell or showcase their wares or talents and it's a definite way to turn otherwise unused or dilapidated property into something of note.

But what if the property is sold? Easy peasy. The containers are packed up and moved to another location. Like a traveling gypsy circus. Only... Not.
