Donations have been pouring in the for the family who lost everything in a fire including their eight-year-old daughter Zoey Brown. A candlelight vigil is planned for Saturday, April 9, 6 PM

On Sunday, April 3, an afternoon fire in Vernon claimed the life of 8-year old Zoey Brown. Her mother and five siblings that were home at the time were able to get out of the house safely.

The community has come together to help this family with clothing at the Vernon Public Library. They're asking people hold on to all of their donations, including clothing until the family can go through what they already have received. The library will then put out a new list of needs for the family.

They are anticipating a need of shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, lotion, towels, bedding, new socks, and underwear,  etc.

Vicky Frost from the Go Fund Me Page says a candlelight vigil is planned:

Ok everyone the candle light vigil for zoey will be this sat at 6 pm and bring your own candles if you have any please park on Curtis Rd and walk down to the house lets show Dave and Andrea our support

Maranda Kay also from the Go Fund Me Page says they have the candles if anyone needs one:

My family will provide the candles for the vigil for Zoey on Saturday.
