Last week, I asked Central New Yorkers how they pronounce elementary. The results are in. 

So, is it elemen-TARY or elemen-TREE?

Based on 124 votes, Central New Yorkers say elemen-TARY.

I predicted this would happen last week. In our area, the elemen-TARY pronunciation is so common. However, the elemen-TARY pronunciation is not common enough to be in a dictionary (how we pronounce it does not show up in any dictionary I could find).
