Cats Killed In Morning Canal Street Fire In Canastota

Crews battled a house fire on Canal Street in Canastota Friday morning.

According to Melanie Stinger, an aunt of the resident Kimberly Campolo, everyone got out of the home okay.

A few cats didn’t make it out, but the dogs and birds did.

There are few details at this time on cause, but we’ll report them as we get more.
