A brand new mission for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been revealed over at IGN, and this new scene takes us, of all places, into oncoming traffic.

The trailer shows the final third of the mission, fittingly called "Traffic," with Sledgehammer co-studio head Glen Schofield guiding our hero as he jumps across buses and other cars in a high-speed chase. The player is shooting enemies in cars and helicopters as they travel from roof to roof and finally come to a truck holding a hostage, but in true Call of Duty fashion reaching the objective isn't always the end of the level.

We see some pretty impressive things as the mission progresses, including one particular moment where the players jumps onto the hood of an enemy car, pulls the driver out of the windshield, and throws him into an oncoming road sign. The normally fast-paced CoD action is heightened even further by this taking place on top of cars on a busy highway. Planning this level must have been both insanely difficult and an absolute blast.

Schofield then tells us that this mission is only in the first third of the whole campaign, so we can only imagine what will follow when Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare launches Nov. 4 on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Here's hoping the new Call of Duty at least has some better sound effects.
