Brick and mortar stores specifically Malls have not had the best of times recently, in fact, you don't hear of any new malls coming online here in New York. Here is a list of the top 5 malls that have survived in New York State.

# 5. Colonie Center (Albany, Albany County)

My wife and I have found this mall to be one of the best malls in the state and the reviews have agreed with us ranking this mall as number 5.

# 4. Destiny USA (Syracuse, Onondaga County)

I have spent a fair amount of time in this mall, shopped, had dinner, watched the electric go-carts. This mall is huge and is voted as number 4 in the top 5 and well deserved. In this case, bigger is really better.

# 3. Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls (Niagara Falls, Niagara County)

Its hard to find some of these brands at your regular mall stores but you certainly can find the hard to find brands at this group of outlet stores. I think it does help the outlets are close to the Canadian border, restaurants and of course the casino.

# 2. Broadway Market (Buffalo, Erie County)

Simply put you can find anything you want in this market meats, chocolates, wine,  baked goods, spices, pierogi, memories from days gone by. We have a niece that lives in Buffalo and is very familiar with the market. One of those places you can spend a lot of time just wondering around with not looking for anything in particular.

# 1. Eastview Mall (Victor, Ontario County)

This is the number one mall on the list and with good reason. If its high-end anything this is the mall for you. This is not your typical mall in the stores but also the general atmosphere.

There you have the top 5 malls across the state even if you just window shop these malls are good to spend an hour or an afternoon.
