The third annual Dog Bowl is back on Animal Planet to encouraging viewers to adopt from an age group that's often overlooked at shelters.
The rescue dogs participating in the Dog Bowl are between the ages of 3-14. Sixty-five dogs from 32 different shelters across the country make up Team Goldies and Team Oldies, and a whopping 24 are rescues from New York.
