A World War II veteran in Canastota, New York is turning 100 in May. This year, his family wishes for 100 cards for his 100th birthday.

Uncle Reggie Emmons will be 100 on May 9. "He's the patriarch of the family who served his country proudly," said his niece, Kimberly Oaks.

Reggie's family is hoping to celebrate the momentous occasion with birthday cards, lots and lots of birthday cards. "We would love to make his day as special as he is to everyone," Oaks said.

If you would like to wish Reggie a happy birthday or thank him for his service, Oaks says you can send a card to her in Barneveld, New York. "Let’s see what card comes the furthest."
