Woman Cleans Purse, Finds Winning Lottery Ticket

My mom's purse contained everything. I mean everything. From gum to treats for the dog, to needle and thread to her own first aid kit it was in there. How she fit all that stuff in her reasonably sized purse is one of life's greatest mysteries. Rhonda Williams sounds a lot like my mom. The Fairburn, Georgia, woman changed her life forever when she decided to clean out her purse. That decision paid off in a big way when she found an old lottery ticket worth $189,302. 

Williams says she found the winning Fantasy 5 ticket in the bottom of her purse after cleaning it out over the weekend. The ticket is from a January 17th drawing. Williams picked all of the winning numbers: 18, 25, 28, 29, 35. Williams says she plans to pay off bills and may take a cruise.
