Truth be told I do like wine, maybe a little more than beer. Although a real cold beer on a very hot day is hard to beat.

Every Wednesday we'll look at a different wine and I'll give you my impression of the reds, whites, and red blends. After all, wine is good for your heart in moderation.

This week we'll be looking at a California red blend titled "Silk" from the Napa Valley Vineyard of Menage A Trois.

Menage a Trios red blend titled "Silk" makes a great way to start enjoying red wines without dealing with the heavy merlots or cabs in the process. Menage a Trois is a combination of  70% Pinot Noir, 20% Malbec and 10% Petite Sirah. What you get is a red with no after taste, smooth without the full body of a merlot or cab. This will make a good way to start enjoying red wine, kind of like a RED Wine LITE.

The next time you are in your store that carries adult beverages ask the person running the store if they do any wine tasting. If so, try to find out when and try a number of different reds to see if they peek your interest.

We'll see you next week for Wine A Little Wednesday.
